Carmel uses a primarily person centered approach – understanding that you bring your own strengths and personal issues to the relationship and helping you utilise these to improve your understanding of, and communication with each other.
She realises that there is not a one size fits all approach to relationship therapy, and draws on theories such as Gottman, Developmental Model, Transactional Analysis etc. to help you identify the best way forward.
Carmel offers a safe, inclusive, non-judgmental space for you to bring your true selves to your relationship. This creates an opportunity to be vulnerable with your partner and reap the rewards this can bring to your relationship.
