Welcome to Mind and Body Works Galway, Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre.

In 2019 Mind and Body Works opened its first Centre outside of Dublin in the City of the Tribes, Galway. We are now established as one of the largest providers of Counselling, Psychotherapy and Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT) in Galway.

This is down to our team of professionals who provide a range of counselling services, including CBT, in our tranquil, calm space. Our team provide a safe and confidential environment where people can explore issues that are troubling them or causing distress.

Our dedicated therapists are qualified and experienced in their fields, and are either accredited or preaccredited with the major accrediting bodies – IACP and IAHIP. They work with individuals, children, couples and adolescents using an approach to suit each individual, including person-centred, gestalt and Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT). Other approaches include Art Psychotherapy for children and adolescents, EMDR and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.

Low Cost Counselling for Galway and the West of Ireland

Our Galway Centre also offers a low cost Counselling service. We appreciate that the cost of counselling, psychotherapy and CBT may not be affordable for many clients on reduced income such as students, parttime workers and the unemployed. We provide this service through a team of senior trainee psychotherapists who work under close monitoring and supervision. This is not a time limited service so clients can avail of as many sessions as they feel they need. Applications for this service can be made by contacting Trisha, our Centre Manager, at 091 725750 or email galway@mindandbodyworks.com.
