Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Petrina works from an integrative and humanistic perspective, which recognises and supports our innate capacity to grow, to develop, to change and to heal. The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of this process.

She fosters a safe therapeutic space where clients can explore difficult issues, emotions and experiences, and gain a better understanding of themselves and what changes they might like to make. Petrina works in collaboration with clients, integrating perspectives from psychodynamic, gestalt, cognitive and somatic approaches.
