Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation

Paola Teresa Loiudice is a highly qualified psychotherapist and psychologist from Argentina, holding accreditation from both the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She also retains active registration with the Association of Psychologists of the Province of Santa Fe in Argentina. Paola has completed postgraduate training, including certifications in psycho-oncology, therapeutic group approaches, and narrative practices. Her diverse background reflects a commitment to interdisciplinary learning and providing tailored therapeutic support.

Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Paola practices from an integrative perspective, combining elements of psychodynamic and narrative therapies, in medium and long term therapeutic processes. She works with English and Spanish speaking clients, offering in-person and online therapy for adult clients. Paola places particular emphasis on active listening and empathy to foster personal growth and resilience. Her focus also extends to counselling people with chronic illnesses, people with difficulties in the process of migratory adjustment, and supporting people facing life transitions, including bereavement.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Paola has extensive experience in both private practice and public health, working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression and interpersonal conflict.  Paola facilitates self-care groups for people with anxiety and mood disorders. Her clinical experience is complemented by a strong focus on mental health education and the promotion of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in academic and professional settings. She is a member of the International Society for Psycho-Oncology, the Human Rights and Psychology Special Interest Group of the Psychological Society of Ireland, and EudeMi Latino-European Social Psychological Network focused on Migration, Displacement, and Inclusion.
