Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Lesley’s work is rooted in a humanistic and integrative approach. This means seeing you as a whole person and working together at a pace that feels right for you. Sessions may explore patterns from the past, emotional and relational experiences, and how these show up in your life today. Lesley’s approach is collaborative, and non-judgemental, with a focus on helping you move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.

She draws primarily from Person-Centred Psychotherapy, alongside psychodynamic, trauma informed sensorimotor approaches and attachment-informed work. She also integrates mindfulness & self-compassion, and body-based practices to support the connection between mind and body.

Before training as a therapist, Lesley worked in the corporate sector. This experience informs her understanding of stress, burnout, and the challenges of navigating demanding environments and significant life changes.
