Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Bola is a fully qualified integrative psychosexual and relationship therapist providing psychotherapy, sex therapy and couples therapy to individuals and couples. Her attendance at an intensive psychotherapy training with Tavistock Relationships in London kindled her passion for psychotherapy and working with clients.
She completed a foundation training in integrative counselling and psychotherapy and then further obtained a post-graduate qualification via Middlesex University, specialising in sex and relationship therapy. She is currently expanding her training on a one-year Advanced Couples Therapy course with NAOS Institute, London.
Bola is a registered member of The College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and holds full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Practising through an integrative lens, Bola uses different approaches depending on the needs of her clients. She believes that no two people are the same, and everyone responds to difficulties in uniquely different ways. This belief informs her client centred approach during the therapeutic journey of her clients.
Besides, people struggle to talk frankly about their sexual lives and relationships. And although difficulties arising from sex and relationships are much more prevalent than most people think, only a few people can still share their struggles with others. Therefore therapy offers a unique and confidential space to have those conversations with Bola.
Specific sexual problems treated include erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, phobic vaginismus, difficulties and differences in sexual desire, inability to reach orgasm (Anorgasmia) and intimacy issues.
Bola also has experience working with other issues, including but not limited to:
Relationship difficulties (individuals and couples)
Abuse and trauma
Problems linked to traumatic events and life transitions
Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
Over the past few years, Bola has worked as a therapist for a busy central London practice and now sees clients privately in Kent. She has experience working with diverse clients with varied sexual and relationship preferences and experience.
Alongside being an individual and couple’s therapist, Bola has over 22 years of experience operating within the field of Human Resources and Organisational Development. She currently balances her leadership role with private practice and understands the effects of life, relationship and work transitions on people. Bola aspires to help her clients find meaning through a more peaceful and hopeful experience.
When not working, she enjoys reading, blogging, singing, travelling, enjoying time out with friends and family and organising peaceful retreats.
Bola’s fee per session is €80 for individuals and €95 for couples
