Biography

As a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, Vicky works with adults and young adults experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, identity issues, low self-esteem, and major life changes, among others. Some clients come to therapy with a clear issue they want to work through, while others simply know that something does not feel quite right.

Before training as a therapist, Vicky spent more than 20 years working in the corporate world. This experience gives her insight into the pressures many people face around stress, burnout, workplace relationships, career change, and balancing the demands of modern life.

Having lived abroad for more than 30 years, Vicky also understands some of the challenges that can come with relocation, cultural adjustment, and living away from home. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she welcomes clients from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Vicky works in an integrative way, tailoring therapy to the individual needs of each client. Her approach is supportive, reflective, and practical, combining evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, including CBT, depending on what feels most helpful for the person she is working with.

Vicky holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Business School (DBS), Dublin.

She is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP) (M16818).
