Biography

Sally works with adults experiencing  depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss and bereavement, self-esteem issues and areas of personal development. She is genuinely interested in supporting individuals on their journey, with a holistic approach focusing on both the mind and the body to offer possibilities for managing feelings in everyday life and developing healthy ways of coping with stress and anxiety. Sally aims to encourage and empower individuals to lead a satisfying life, having meaningful relationships with others.

Sally enjoys working with a Person-Centred approach, while drawing from an integration of therapeutic modalities according to what best fits the client. These modalities include psychodynamic, Gestalt, Attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, EMDR and Mindfulness, and is trained in developmental trauma, mindful self-compassion, contemplative neuroscience, internal family systems, polyvagal theory, somatic experiencing and CBT.

Sally has a special interest in equine assisted psychotherapy and in the connection between horses and humans in the healing process.

Sally is a fully accredited member of IACP (Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy) (M10845) and is an accredited practitioner of EMDR.
