Biography

Paul is a fully qualified psychotherapist, psychosexual and relationship therapist, and coach. He holds MSc degrees in both psychotherapy and coaching, reflecting a strong academic underpinning in these fields. In addition, he holds a London Diploma in Relationship and Psychosexual Therapy, and is a certified Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) practitioner. Beyond these core trainings, Paul has additional post-graduate qualifications in several key areas including Gestalt group facilitation, Tavistock leadership consulting, and innovative strategy and design thinking.

As a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and registered member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT), Paul maintains high professional standards. He strictly adheres to the ethical guidelines of both bodies, and engages in ongoing professional development and regular supervision to ensure the highest quality of care for clients.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Paul has substantial experience working with both individuals and couples who present with a diverse range of relational and sexual concerns. His areas of expertise include assisting clients who are experiencing low sexual desire and desire discrepancy; helping those experiencing erectile unpredictability, rapid or delayed ejaculation, or anorgasmia. Additionally, he works with concerns related to fetishes, obsessive and intrusive thinking and out of control sexual behaviours, including  those relating to pornography use. He also has experience of working with people affected by childhood and adult sexual trauma.
