Biography

Owen has experience working with anger, anxiety, bereavement, depression, eating disorders, identity problems, loss, relationships, personal development, self-esteem / confidence, education and work-related issues.

Whilst he works with clients of all ages and genders, Owen takes particular interest in Men’s Issues and is especially concerned with male eating disorders, body image issues, and relational abuse.

Owen’s practice provides a safe environment in which a client can explore their thoughts and feelings free of judgement. Owen is passionate in the proverb “a problem shared is a problem halved” and believes through identifying patterns in our thoughts, behaviours and relationships, we can empower ourselves with the perspective needed to heal and change.

Owen has a Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. He is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and he abides by their code of ethics.
