In addition to her interest in bereavement, illness and end of life issues, Olyvia is dedicated to working with people to overcome anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship and intimacy challenges, loneliness, fertility and pregnancy struggles, issues at work and burn-out.
Olyvia is dedicated to creating a compassionate and respectful space, while also gently challenging patterns that may no longer serve your well-being. Working together, Olyvia helps clients deepen their self-understanding and encourages greater self-acceptance, healing, personal growth, and lasting, meaningful change.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Olyvia offers a warm, empathetic, and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences and work towards meaningful change. Her approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and integrative, drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic, CBT, gestalt, and body psychotherapy. She is also drawn to using psychosynthesis which is a gentle approach that focuses on helping you to understand yourself better and bring all parts of who you are into balance so you can feel more whole and fulfilled.
She works with an understanding of attachment and family systems, helping clients gain insight into patterns and past experiences so they can move forward with greater clarity and resilience.
Olyvia brings a holistic perspective to her work, supporting the connection between mind, body, and spirit. She has a somatic approach and believes therapy is not just about talking, but about reconnecting with yourself at every level and creating balance and wellbeing.
Above all, she values creating a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic relationship tailored to each individual that enters her therapy space.
