Biography

During therapy with Oana you can explore many aspects of life: from managing stress, anxiety, or loss to deepening self-acceptance, authenticity, and connection in relationships, creativity, and everyday living.

An important part of her practice involves working with the body-mind connection through somatic awareness and expression, including Biodynamic Massage* if you choose. The body often remembers what the mind cannot recall. By tuning into sensations, movement, and the body’s subtle cues, you can access insights that support balance and wellbeing.

Oana also holds a compassionate space for those navigating grief or bereavement, offering gentle presence and understanding as you find your own path toward healing and meaning.

All sessions have an integrative and biodynamic foundation, and you can choose between two ways of working:

  • Regular Psychotherapy: This is a more familiar talk-based approach, where you can explore what’s happening for you and may include gentle body awareness, movement, or expression as needed.
  • Psychotherapy including Biodynamic Massage: This integrates all of the above, along with Biodynamic Massage (see details below), for a deeper way to connect with your inner experience. Some sessions may involve only talk or only massage, while others may combine both. If you have questions on how this works, please ask.

In the first session, you and Oana will talk about what brings you to therapy and decide together what approach feels most supportive for you.

Oana is a qualified psychotherapist with a Higher Diploma in Biodynamic and Integrative Psychotherapy and a Certificate in Biodynamic Massage from the Trácht Psychotherapy Foundation in Galway. She is also a pre-accredited member of both the Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapists (IAHIP) and the Irish Association of Body Psychotherapy (IABP).
