Biography

Niamh’s areas of interest include working with bereavement and end of life related issues. She is passionate about working with people overcoming trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, psychosexual issues, dating fatigue and loneliness, fertility and pregnancy related issues, challenges surrounding neuro-diversity, self development, ill-health and burnout.

Niamh brings a non-judgemental approach to her work with individuals and with couples.

Niamh observes that couples often arrive to this work when communication has become fragmented and resentments have grown strong. Niamh brings a position of neutrality to her work with couples, meaning that she takes no sides, but rather serves as a compassionate witness who hopes to improve communication between each partner so each person feels heard and understood.

Niamh believes that a supportive therapeutic relationship can nurture growth and foster positive change for clients within psychotherapy.

Niamh holds a Masters of Science in Integrative Psychotherapy from Dublin City University (DCU). Niamh is a Pre-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist with the IACP.
