Biography

Michael works with a range is issues including anxiety, low self-esteem, stress, negative thought patterns, grief and loss, trauma, family and relationship challenges. He has a particular interest in exploring existential issues with his clients.

He and the client work together to explore the relationship with the self, relationships with others and the underlying processes that can cause suffering.

His experience brings with it an awareness of physiology and he is an advocate of working somatically, incorporating the breath and drawing awareness to the clients nervous system and its interpretation of the world around them.

Michael is a qualified Psychotherapist holding a BA honours degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from DBS. His training draws upon numerous approaches to therapeutic work, allowing flexibility in attuning to the unique needs of the client.

He is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
