Biography

Liz has experience working with clients with issues, such as grief, anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, and self-esteem/body image.

Liz has a keen interest in neurodiversity, and how neurodivergent people can support and embrace themselves confidently. There has been a shift in recent times away from the medical model of neurodivergence as an individual having a deficit to a more positive one of neurodivergent people possessing unique talents and skills and how to incorporate these into their lives.

Liz also has a particular interest in working with clients who are experiencing work-related burnout. Individuals with burnout can experience a disconnect from themselves as well as their work. When Liz works with clients with burnout this involves allowing the clients to connect with themselves, firstly on a basic level and then on a deeper level.

Liz holds a Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Turning Point Institute. She is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
