Katharine provides a welcoming and compassionate space where you can feel heard, supported, and accepted just as you are. Her approach is grounded in empathy and understanding, helping you explore your experiences at your own pace and find new ways to grow, heal, and build resilience. She sees therapy as a collaborative journey — one where you and she work together to make sense of what’s happening in your life and uncover what feels most meaningful for you. Katharine is an Integrative and Humanistic psychotherapist. Her work is rooted in Psychodynamic Therapy but she also draws on Gestalt, Person-Centred Therapy, Psychosynthesis, and Existential approaches.Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
Katharine brings her life experience to her work and embraces the opportunity to support change in others. It is a true privilege to be trusted with her clients most personal issues. She has experience supporting clients with a wide range of concerns including but not limited to chronic illnesses, menopause, family difficulties, low self-esteem, anxiety, grief, depression, weight issues, relationship difficulties, loneliness, personal development, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts and working with young adults and students.Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Katharine holds a Master’s Degree, having completed her training with The Tivoli institute, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin and graduated with an MA in Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (Clinical). She is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and abides by the code of ethics laid down by IACP. Katharine is committed to ongoing professional development and partakes in ongoing training and supervision.
