Biography

Julia’s areas of interest are trauma, inclusion, equity, belonging, loss, grief, gender, LGBTQ+, diversity, chronic illness, depression, anxiety, neurosis, suicidal ideation, empowering the self and the complexities of relationship.

Julia is a Gestalt, integrative, humanist therapist who leans towards a relational, embodied philosophical and existential approach. Her approach is individuated to meet each client uniquely and creatively in a relational field as to where they are at.

“Therapy is a place to cushion our suffering and find the necessary tools required to manage our mental health sustainably. Our life experiences can be gifts that encourage growth and we need not walk alone. My approach to therapy can be fun, creative and deeply transforming”.

Julia is a fully accredited psychotherapist with the IACP (Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and IAHIP (Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy). She abides by their codes of ethics.
