Joanna has extensive experience in a wide range of personal struggles, such as loneliness, stress, anxiety, bullying, bereavement, grief, low self-esteem, financial difficulties, shame, self-harm and addiction. She has supported clients when dealing with adverse outcomes related to physical health, pregnancy, divorce, separation, and career. She has also worked on the front line for those dealing with current and historic relational trauma including intimate relationships, familial relationships, family estrangement and parenting.
Joanna’s therapeutic approach is person–centred, integrative and trauma–informed, grounded in respect, compassion and attunement with her client. Her work incorporates modalities such as CBT, gestalt psychosynthesis, family systems, psychodynamics and body psychotherapy. She also integrates lifestyle medicine when clinically appropriate.
Joanna is a fully qualified therapist with a First Class Honours in Holistic Counseling and Psychotherapy. She is pre-accredited with IACP and adheres to their code of ethics.

Her work incorporates modalities such as CBT, gestalt psychosynthesis, family systems, psychodynamics and body psychotherapy. She also integrates lifestyle medicine when clinically appropriate. With Joanna therapy can be short term and targeted, exploring a particular issue or issues over six to eight weeks. She also provides longer term therapy, allowing a more indepth look at someone’s world, and how their life experiences have shaped them.

Joanna is a fully qualified therapist with a First Class Honours in Holistic Counseling and Psychotherapy. She is pre-accredited with IACP and adheres to their code of ethics.Joanna also holds qualifications in trauma informed therapy having worked extensively in the area of gender based violence. She is also trained in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training).
