Biography

Jill works with a wide range of issues including anxiety, trauma, depression, emotional overwhelm, loneliness, neurodivergence, relationship and parenting challenges, grief, postnatal transitions, low self-esteem, body image and self-image concerns, attachment injuries, and times of confusion or life transition.

She brings a warm, compassionate presence to her work and tailors the therapeutic process to meet each client’s unique needs. Jill remains committed to her own continuous growth as a therapist.

Jill views therapy as a space for both healing and empowerment — an opportunity to reconnect with one’s own inner strength, clarity, and self-trust. She believes that therapy isn’t about ‘fixing’ the person – it’s about helping them reconnect with the strengths, insights and resilience that are already within them.

Jill Piggott holds a BA (Hons) in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the International College for Personal and Professional Development (ICPPD). She is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

Jill also holds a certificate in ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), enabling her to support individuals in crisis with care and competence.
