Biography

Jacqui Tallon is a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor. She holds a Masters in Pluralistic Counselling & Psychotherapy, and a Degree in Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy.

Jacqui has acquired a Specialist Diploma in Eating Disorders, Level 9 Certificates in Addiction Studies, & in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Jacqui is an accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Jacqui has a special interest in eating disorders; however, this is not exclusive, additional areas of interest include; stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, sexual assault, child abuse, domestic violence, bullying, and clients in recovery from addiction.

Jacqui works with adults of all ages in Mind & Works. She also has many years’ experience working with young adults in UCD and Trinity College. Her goal is to help individuals who wish to explore what is causing them distress, and to work with them on what they can do to improve their well-being and lives.
