Biography

Jackie holds a Masters Degree in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (Clinical) from IT Carlow and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy from the Tivoli Institute.  She also holds a Diploma in Business Studies from the Waterford Institute of Technology.

Jackie is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

Jackie works from a humanistic and integrative approach. She places the client at the centre of the therapeutic process and tailors her approach to suit each and every individual.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Jackie’s areas of interest include anxiety, eating disorders, sexuality, trauma, family dynamics, depression, stress, low self-esteem, grief and loss.

Jackie also works with parents and families of children with additional needs, with a particular focus on parents of children with Down Syndrome based on her own personal experience. The work involves helping parents to understand and manage the day-to-day challenges involved in raising a child with additional needs.
