Biography

Jackie’s aim is to help clients identify their patterns of behavior and recognise how those patterns may be impacting their current lives in a negative way.

Jackie’s areas of interest include anxiety, eating disorders, sexuality, trauma, family dynamics, depression, stress, low self-esteem, grief and loss.

Jackie also works with parents and families of children with additional needs, with a particular focus on parents of children with Down Syndrome based on her own personal experience. The work involves helping parents to understand and manage the day-to-day challenges involved in raising a child with additional needs.

Jackie works from a humanistic and integrative approach. She places the client at the centre of the therapeutic process and tailors her approach to suit each and every individual.

Jackie is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
