Biography

Jackie works with a wide variety of issues, including Anxiety, Abuse, IVF, Early Childhood Issues, Anger, Loss, Bullying, BPD, Compulsivity, Depression, Abandonment and Shame, Food Related Issues, Phobias, Self-Harm, Sexuality, Suicidal Ideation, Trauma and Shock, Trauma Related to Domestic Abuse and Workplace Stress.

Jackie’s approach to therapy is an Integrative Humanistic, drawing from many different modalities, including mindfulness, breath-work and body work. Jackie believes the therapeutic relationship is central to the work, influencing the outcome of therapy and is the catalyst for change for the client. Genuine collaboration between the therapist and the client is encouraged.

Jackie sees every client, every session as unique and is creative and dynamic in integrating her learning and life experience while sitting with the client as their story unfolds, offering support, a safe space to unpack, process and heal.

Jackie holds an Honour’s Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from Cork Institute of Technology (Now MTU).  

Jackie is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
