Biography

Geralyn has practiced as a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist for over 13 years.

She has a depth of knowledge in the areas of Psychosis, Personality Disorders, Trauma, Historic Sexual Abuse, Depression, Eating disorders, Schizophrenia and Autism.

Geralyn has helped patients to gain an intimate knowledge of their unconscious inner world, and facilitated a recognition of how this impacts upon their day-to-day relationships. She provides a consistent, reliable and safe space in which an individual can begin to develop the confidence required to be able to express and explore their deepest concerns.

Geralyn has worked with many patients who are also under Psychiatric care, as well as those engaged with Juvenile Justice, the Criminal Justice system, and Probation.

Geralyn is a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and is a Member of the Northern Ireland Institute of Human Relations, the Irish Council for Psychotherapy, the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).
