Offering a space to reflect on what matters most helps us to find ways of living that feel more aligned with our personal values. He focuses on present experience, helping people to become more in tune with their feelings, thoughts, bodily sensations and ways of relating to others, in order to gain a clearer understanding of their needs and patterns of engaging with the world. Doing so can open up possibilities for greater self-acceptance and change, which stems from a belief that therapy offers an opportunity to become more integrated in ourselves, consolidating who we are and developing towards who we hope to be. This can help us contend with the challenges we encounter, while also enjoying what life can offer.
Gareth aims to be flexible in how he works with clients, moving with what a client needs on a given day, respecting different feelings and experiences as they arise.
