Biography

Ella has experience supporting clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, grief/bereavement, depression, low self-esteem, identity, self-development, trauma, neurodivergence, life transitions, sexual difficulties, and relationship challenges. She has a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and is committed to providing an inclusive, affirming, and compassionate therapeutic space for all.

Ella takes a holistic approach to wellbeing, recognising that it can be influenced by a range of interconnected factors, including thoughts, emotions, behaviours, physical health, relationships, and life experiences. She works collaboratively with clients to foster a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where they feel safe, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences and challenges.
Her approach is integrative, drawing primarily on Humanistic, Psychodynamic, Systemic, Cognitive Behavioural, and Transactional Analysis modalities. Because no two journeys are the same, Ella adapts her approach to the individual – whether that is a compassionate, empathetic space or a more active, solution-focused stance. At the heart of her work is the belief that everyone has the capacity for personal growth within a trusting therapeutic relationship.
Ella has an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from Dublin City University. She is trained in multiple therapeutic approaches and tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. She is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and is committed to ongoing professional development through regular supervision and continuing education.
