Biography

Aoife works with adults aged 18 and over and supports people experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, low mood, stress, burnout, trauma, emotional overwhelm, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and concerns related to physical health and wellbeing.

Aoife has a particular interest in working with anxiety, stress, chronic health conditions, women’s health and hormonal experiences, as well as providing neurodiversity-affirming support to autistic and ADHD adults. She also has a broader interest in the mind–body connection, and in how psychological experiences can affect the body and nervous system.

Aoife takes an integrative and collaborative approach to therapy, drawing primarily from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), attachment-informed approaches and body-based practices, adapting her approach to each client’s individual experiences and goals.

Aoife is a trained Clinical Psychologist, and received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College Dublin. Aoife is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
