Biography

Conor’s experience includes but is not limited to working with anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, self-worth issues, relationship issues, shame and self-criticism.

Conor has a particular interest in how we relate to ourselves and has recently been involved in research on self-compassion: the concept of being kind to ourselves when facing life’s problems, just as we might be with a close friend or family member in the same situation.

Central to Conor’s therapeutic approach is the firm belief that every person has within them the capacity to reach their full potential and lead a full, meaningful life. Sometimes we can be presented with difficulties that get in the way of this, and exploring things as a team in therapy can help. Conor provides a safe and non-judgmental space to do this, and works in both the short and long-term.

Conor is a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist holding a Postgraduate Diploma and MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and is a fully accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), abiding by their code of ethics.
