Biography

Claire has over 15 years of clinical experience supporting individuals experiencing a wide variety of challenges including bereavement and loss; anxiety; depression; nervous system dysregulation; trauma (including childhood or attachment trauma and specific trauma in adulthood); relationship difficulties; burnout and toxic stress; coping with chronic illness or pain, support for carers workplace issues and menopause. Claire offers sessions online.

Claires approach is relational, trauma‑informed, and integrative, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, person‑centred therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and somatic therapy. Claire pays attention to thoughts, emotions, nervous system states and sensations in the body the body. Using evidence‑based therapeutic approaches we work gently and collaboratively to build awareness, regulate the nervous system, and process difficult experiences.

Claire holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Trinity College Dublin and is a fully Chartered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
