Biography

Annette has worked with a wide range of issues including (but not limited to) abuse, addiction, anxiety, attachment issues, depression, employment/workplace issues, health issues, inner child, loss/bereavement, personal development, relationship issues, self esteem, sexuality, suicide ideation and trauma. Her approach to counselling is Humanistic and Integrative.  She believes the client is the expert on themselves having travelled their unique journey in life.

Annette’s work is underpinned by a mindfulness and compassion based approach which supports the creation of a strong, though gentle, collaborative therapeutic relationship with her clients, in a calm, safe and non-judgemental space.

Annette holds a Professional Diploma and a B.A. (Honours) Degree in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from The International College for Personal and Professional Development (ICPPD).  She also completed a thesis on the therapeutic value of mindfulness in the counselling process.

Annette is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
