Biography

Amanda’s areas of interest include Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Self-care, Trauma, Relationship problems, Grief and Loss, Confidence, Personal Development, Infertility, and Pregnancy Related Issues.

Amanda works on the premise that each person is unique and responds differently to therapy and therefore requires a person centred approach. She uses a holistic approach and is trained in a variety of therapeutic models. Her main influences are Person Centred Theory, Humanistic and Integrative, Psychodynamic therapy, Attachment Theory, Transpersonal Psychotherapy and CBT.

Amanda holds a Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapy from the Tivoli Institute and a Degree in Applied Social Studies.  She is a fully accredited psychotherapist with the Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and follows their code of ethics.  Amanda attends regular supervision as well as ongoing training and workshops.
