Biography

Áine supports clients working through a range of areas/issues including anxiety/stress, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, sexuality, bereavement/loss, relationship issues, workplace issues and self-care.

Áine strongly believes in and is guided by the principles of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy. Áine believes that every client has a choice, responsibility and creativity to bring about their own healing and move towards wholeness. She respects the unique and subjective world of the client and recognises that the client is a whole and dynamic person living out their current level of integration through their body, mind, feelings and spirit.

Áine holds an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Northampton, a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Dublin Counselling and Therapy Centre and a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree from Queen’s University Belfast.

Áine is an accredited member of the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and is a registered member of the Irish Council for Psychotherapy.
