Biography

Kristyna has a special interest in Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Loss and Bereavement.

Kristyna offers her clients empathy, and the ability to “sit with” the pain of others with compassion and without judgment. She believes that all individuals are resilient and capable of healing from past and present experiences. Kristyna works pluralistically drawing from a variety of methodologies and techniques and tailors treatments based on each client’s unique needs, wants and preferences.

She works with the clients to explore and heal present or past issues and support them to thrive in their lives by using modalities like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and sensorimotor (body) practices.

Since 2009, Kristyna has worked for Focus Ireland with individuals from diverse socio/cultural/economic backgrounds, experiencing trauma, discrimination and loss. Since 2015, Kristyna has worked as Youth & Family Mediator for Focus Ireland supporting families’ relationships and working to prevent children from going into care.

She is fully accredited with the APCP and pre-accredited with the IACP.
