Biography

Janet holds a bachelor’s degree in social science from University College Dublin, a Master’s Degree in Sociology, and an MSc in Systemic Psychotherapy.

Janet is a registered member of the Family Therapy Association of Ireland (FTAI).

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Janet works with adults, couples, adolescents (alongside their caregivers), and families. She has a particular interest in supporting parents facing challenges related to their children’s emotional or behavioural difficulties, and in helping couples strengthen their relationships and work through issues such as communication, conflict, or trust. She also supports individuals with concerns such as anxiety, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, and a desire for deeper self-understanding.
