Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Carol has completed four years training at The Tivoli Institute, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin. She graduated in 2023 with a Masters in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (Clinical). She is an accredited member of The Irish Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP) and adheres to their strict code of ethics and practice. Carol is committed to ongoing training and continuous education in her personal and professional development by attending various workshops and training seminars.Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Carol places a strong emphasis on the client-therapist relationship. She sees this relationship as a central component for healing and growth to take place and a crucial catalyst for self-discovery and positive change. Carol’s approach to therapy is deeply rooted in the integration of various therapeutic styles aiming to meet the unique and individualised needs of each client. She values the importance of understanding and integrating past and present experiences to comprehend how individuals function and the reasons behind their behaviours. In alignment with humanistic principles, Carol strives to create a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. She aims to foster a space where individuals can explore their inner selves, gain self-awareness, and tap into their own wisdom. Carol has worked with Mind & Body Works for the past two years while doing her clinical placement. She has experience in supporting and helping people from a wide range of backgrounds and who have presented with a range of problems. These include but are not limited to living with: anxiety; stress; depression; body image issues; loneliness; relationship problems and low self-esteem.Carol’s fee is €70 per session.
