Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Claire has over 15 years of clinical experience supporting individuals experiencing a wide variety of challenges including bereavement and loss; anxiety; depression; nervous system dysregulation; trauma (including childhood or attachment trauma and specific trauma in adulthood); relationship difficulties; burnout and toxic stress; coping with chronic illness or pain, support for carers workplace issues and menopause. Claire offers sessions online.

Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

In her approach Claire offers a compassionate, empathic, non-judgemental and grounded safe space that supports greater self-awareness, healing and change. Claire uses an integrative approach drawing on evidence based ways of working including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centred Therapy and Somatic Therapy. Claires work is trauma and nervous system informed.

Counselling Psychology Training and Accreditation

Claire holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Trinity College Dublin and is a fully Chartered Psychologist with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI). Her training is integrative and evidence -based. She engages in regular clinical supervision and maintains a strong commitment to lifelong learning and professional growth. Claire continues to deepen her practice through ongoing seminars, workshops, and specialised training.
