Bernadette’s fee is €80 per session for individual clients and €100 for couples
Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Bernadette is an experienced Psychotherapist, Relationship Therapist, Supervisor and Trainer. She holds a Masters Degree in Psychotherapy from Dublin City University. She has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Couple and Relationship Counselling and a Professional Diploma in Clinical Supervision.
Bernadette is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Bernadette adopts an integrative approach to practice, drawing on a range of appropriate therapeutic perspectives including, Psychodynamic, Humanistic and Cognitive Therapies.
Her approach is client centred, working with individuals and couples to help them uncover their own strengths and resources to deal with the life challenges they may find themselves facing.
Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
Bernadette has extensive experience working with both individuals and couples on a wide range of issues from relationship difficulties, anxiety, stress, depression, loss and grief, life stage challenges and the general malaise that can face us all from time to time.
Her work with couples includes relationship breakdown, separation and divorce, parenting issues, communication difficulties, intimacy issues, affairs, domestic abuse. She has a particular interest in the challenges of mid life and working with those who may find themselves adrift at this time of life.
