Counselling and Psychotherapy Approach & Experience

Joanna takes a holistic approach to therapy, viewing well-being as the integration of mind, body, and spirit. She tailors each session to the unique needs of the individual, drawing from a wide range of therapeutic methods to support healing, growth, and self-discovery. With a focus on creating a warm and non -judgmental space, Joanna helps clients explore their emotions, deepen self-awareness, and navigate life’s challenges.

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, Joanna sees each person as a whole and unique individual. She guides clients toward greater self-understanding, empowerment, and the freedom to embrace their authentic self. Joanna believes that lasting transformation occurs when all aspects of a person’s life are nurtured, and she views the client-therapist relationship as a powerful catalyst for healing, self-exploration, and meaningful change. This connection helps individuals reconnect with their true selves, enabling them to live with greater authenticity and purpose.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Over the past two years, Joanna has gained valuable experience during her clinical placement at Mind and Body Works, where she has supported individuals from diverse backgrounds. She has worked with clients facing a broad range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties, helping them find a path toward healing and personal growth.
