Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Ida’s work is integrative and holistic, meaning that she uses a variety of approaches and techniques such as mindfulness, dream-work and inner child work.
Ida aims to help clients look into their emotions and fully experience them in order to discover the aspects of themselves, of which they were previously unaware. She then helps her clients to find self-compassion and to integrate the fragmented parts of themselves in order to bring about healing.
For Ida, one of the most significant parts of therapy lies in the therapeutic relationship and she believes the magic starts happening when we begin to feel security and trust in the relationship with our therapist.
As a yoga teacher, Ida introduces elements of breath and body awareness into her work, as well as elements of eastern philosophy in a very practical way so that her clients find ways to live happier and more fulfilled lives.
