Training and Accreditation

Robyn holds a BA in Psychological Science, Sociology, and Politics, along with a Master’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is pre-accredited with the APCP and is committed to ongoing professional development. She actively engages in continued training and upskilling to deepen her clinical practice and stay informed on emerging approaches in the field.

Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Robyn adopts an integrative approach to psychotherapy, tailoring her work to meet the unique needs of each client. Her practice is grounded in humanistic and person-centred principles, emphasising the importance of the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for growth and change. Informed by her academic background in psychology, she draws from a range of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Gestalt therapy, Robyn creates a collaborative and supportive space where clients can explore their experiences and move toward personal development and healing.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Robyn has experience working with clients across a wide range of ages and backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those living with chronic illness. Her work has supported clients in navigating anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief, relationship difficulties, trauma, low self-esteem, self-image concerns, and interpersonal conflict. She is passionate about offering a compassionate and inclusive therapeutic space where clients feel heard and supported in exploring the challenges they face.
