Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Jill’s approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s unique experience. She provides a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges at a pace that feels right for them. Whether someone feels overwhelmed, emotionally challenged, or is seeking a deeper connection with themselves, Jill offers a calm, compassionate presence and collaborative support.

Working from an integrative perspective, Jill draws primarily on Humanistic Therapy and the Person-Centred Approach, which prioritises the therapeutic relationship, self-awareness, and the individual’s innate potential for growth. She also incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, providing practical tools to support emotional regulation, resilience, and meaningful change.

Jill views therapy as a space for both healing and empowerment — an opportunity to reconnect with one’s own inner strength, clarity, and self-trust. She believes that therapy isn’t about ‘fixing’ the person – it’s about helping them reconnect with the strengths, insights and resilience that are already within them.
