Amanda is a Registered Member of the College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) adhering to their ethical code, professional standards and guidelines, in addition to holding full Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. Amanda regularly attends career and professional development training in order to maintain her knowledge, understanding, skills and experience in the field.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Amanda’s modality of psychotherapy is integrative, adopting a range of theories, approaches, models, tools and techniques tailored to suit the specific needs and preferences of her clients. These may include: Psychodynamic, Attachment Theory, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Existential, CBT and Transpersonal, in addition to Psychosexual and Relationship specific.

Amanda advocates a safe, warm, confidential and non-judgemental space for her clients to allow them to be authentic and express their thoughts and feelings freely and without reservation. Amanda likes to provide support and challenge to allow exploration of issues whether they be past and/or present. Amanda aims to steer clients in establishing fortitude in the face of adversity in order to lead the best life possible.
Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
Amanda has worked in several diverse London practices since 2018 with individual and couples/partnership and other relationship dynamics seeing clients from a variety of nationalities, cultures, sexualities, ages and backgrounds for both psychosexual and relationship therapy/counselling and general psychotherapy/counselling presentations.
Alongside being a Psychotherapist and Counsellor, Amanda has had 25 years experience working in education as a Teacher and Manager in schools and as an Education Consultant in a Local Authority. In her spare time she enjoys: reading, creative writing, travel, theatre, film, music, dancing, fashion, walking, badminton and swimming.
