Christine's fee is €80 for individuals and €110 for couples per session

Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation

Christine is a fully accredited Integrative Psychotherapist with the IACP, holding her qualification from the IICP in Tallaght, Dublin. She works with adults and adolescents in both in-person and online settings. Her practice is underpinned by over 13 years of experience in social care, where she developed a strong foundation in supporting individuals and families through complex challenges.

Alongside her psychotherapy training, Christine has completed specialised training in motivational interviewing, Steps to Cope, and the Decider Skills programme, which enhance her use of psychoeducation as a core element of therapy. She also works with couples who are navigating the difficult decision of whether to strengthen their relationship or part ways, holding this space through the Glasser couple approach. In addition, she has undertaken rigorous professional development in trauma-informed practice, including specific training in trauma and sexual violence, which allows her to work sensitively with clients who have experienced profound distress.

Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Christine’s approach is integrative, with a strong emphasis on Humanistic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She believes in creating a therapeutic relationship that is collaborative, non-judgmental, and grounded in compassion. By blending methods such as CBT, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, and systemic practice, she tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients.

Creative techniques such as art-based approaches and guided meditation are also part of her work, offering clients alternative ways to explore and process their experiences. Trauma-informed and client-centred at its core, her approach prioritises emotional safety, empowerment, and the development of coping strategies that support long-term resilience and growth.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Christine has extensive experience working with individuals presenting with a range of concerns, including anxiety, low mood, trauma, self-esteem difficulties, relationship struggles, and life transitions. Many clients come to therapy seeking greater self-understanding, clarity, and tools to navigate life’s challenges.

Over three years, Christine worked with a Tusla-funded organisation in Kildare, providing counselling for young people aged 13–25 and systemic support for their families. This strengthened her passion for working with adolescents and families, as well as her interest in systemic approaches. She has also worked with the RISE Foundation, where she supported their 10-week non-residential Family Programme, designed to raise awareness and provide education for families affected by a loved one’s addiction.

Christine has a particular interest in supporting the LGBT+ community, having worked closely with many young people exploring identity, belonging, and relationships. Her work with couples is an area she continues to deepen, as she is currently embarking on further training with the Institute of Couples Ireland. This training not only enhances her skillset but reflects her commitment to supporting couples in navigating relational dynamics, communication, and connection in meaningful, lasting ways.

Today, Christine offers both individual and family-focused sessions, as well as couple work. Whether supporting a client in their personal growth, helping a family strengthen connection, or guiding a couple through pivotal decisions, she holds a space that is safe, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that meaningful change is possible.
