Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Leonard holds a four year Higher Diploma in Biodynamic and Integrative Psychotherapy, a humanistic and person-centred approach to therapy. He also holds post-graduate qualifications in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Body Centred Psychotherapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Couples Relationship Counselling and Clinical Supervision.
Leonard is an accredited Psychotherapist with IACP and IAHIP and is an accredited Supervisor with IAHIP.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Leonard’s approach is collaborative, empathic and relational. He adapts his work to each individual or couple, according to their needs, drawing from his broad repertoire of therapeutic approaches. He believes that all individuals are unique and have the potential for growth and change. He creates a safe, supportive and confidential space for each person to explore their personal difficulties at their own pace, gradually moving towards transformation.

Leonard has worked as a therapist in private practice for 14 years and has considerable experience working with individuals and couples with a wide range of issues such as:
anxiety; panic attacks; bullying; stress; anger management; emotional, physical and sexual abuse; trauma; depression; couple relationship difficulties; dysfunctional family dynamics; human sexuality; addiction issues; bereavement; loss of meaning and purpose, among others.
