Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Judit’s style is firmly rooted in the humanistic approach. She follows the co-creative process of the therapeutic encounter while respecting the client’s individuality and capacity for self-direction. Her methods are exploratory in nature, looking to assist with the integration of conscious and unconscious, cognitive, emotional, physical, energetic and spiritual aspects of the person.

Her work is informed by Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).  She also draws upon Attachment theories and practices, and incorporates Bodywork and Mindfulness when appropriate. Judit also draws on Bert Hellinger’s Family Constellations work to help uncover and explore hidden family entanglements.

Judit is a qualified Bio Energy Therapist with a solid background in holistic approaches to health and healing. For her, the integration of the insights and practices of the ancient wisdom traditions are just as important in enhancing her own personal and professional capacity as the contemporary evidence-based approaches to counselling and psychotherapy.

Judit believes in the healing and restorative potential of the therapeutic relationship.  She works to establish a trusting and supporting space where clients can safely explore their life experiences and work through any associated feelings. This unique relationship also offers an opportunity for clients to understand how they relate to the world, to others and more importantly to themselves. Judit’s aim is to assist her clients with the development of an increased self-respect and personal integrity aiding in their authenticity and well-being.
