Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation
Ida is an accredited therapist with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She holds a BA in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy and a certificate in Couples Counselling. She works with individuals aged 18 years and over, and couples, providing therapy in both English and Croatian.
Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Ida works in a somatic, body-focused way, helping clients connect with and process emotions through the body and the nervous system. She is currently completing training in Embodied Processing, a somatic approach that supports clients in sensing, feeling, and releasing emotions held in the body.
Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest
Ida has worked with various counselling services in Galway, as well as in private practice. Her focus is helping clients get to know themselves and start living a more authentic life. She works with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, chronic stress, depression, shame, loneliness, conflict avoidance and lack of belonging.
Ida has studied and lived internationally, which gives her work an intercultural dimension.
In her free time, Ida enjoys walking in nature, swimming, hiking and yoga.

Ida’s fee is €75 for individuals and €95 for couples for a 55 minute session.
