Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

While our experiences growing up undeniably shape who we are, she sees psychotherapy as a transformative journey where we can explore and understand our anxieties, fears, and sense of self.

Hester’s approach is person-centred and humanistic, drawing on various modalities including psychodynamic, gestalt, existential, cognitive, and body psychotherapy. This integrative style invites curiosity about the conscious, unconscious, embodied, and intellectual aspects of your being. Together, Hester and you can explore the narratives and patterns that have shaped you, working toward greater coherence, understanding, self-compassion, and tolerance.

She has experience working with both long-term clients and in a short-term, solution-focused model.
