Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach
Whilst our experiences growing up influence and shape who we are, Hester sees psychotherapy as a process in which our anxieties, fears and our sense of ourselves can be explored, understood and transformed through a process of learning, understanding, healing, and connection. Her person-centred approach encompasses psychodynamic, gestalt, existential, cognitive and body psychotherapy approaches. This style invites curiosity around the conscious, unconscious, embodied and intellectual parts that make us unique and individual.
Hester has worked with both long-term clients and in a short-term, solution focused model.

She is committed to life-long learning and continues to develop both personally and professionally. Hester aims to provide a safe, empathic and non-judgemental environment and believes in each individuals capacity to evolve and grow.
