Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation

Natalia has a PhD in Psychology and is a graduate member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) (M12722) and the Society of Psychotherapy Research (SPR). In 2018 Natalia won the International Student Award, granted by the Society for Psychotherapy Research. This was in recognition of her doctoral research project.

Natalia has worked in different research teams throughout the last 10 years; topics include: psychotherapy research, neuroscience and behavioral science.

Her doctoral studies and research work explores the therapists’ socio-affective profiles (empathy, countertransference, therapeutic alliance and emotional reactivity) through multidimensional research, based on qualitative, quantitative and neurophysiological measures, focused on two contextual determinants of great relevance: the therapist’s socio-professional environment and the psychopathology of the clients.

Natalia has participated as a doctoral student and research visitor in many psychology courses around the world, including Argentina, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Chile.

Currently, she works as a Supervisor for Human and Social Sciences – Psychology programmes at Dublin Business School (DBS) and as a researcher at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

Natalia incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness approaches to her clinical work.

Her training in DBT is particularly useful for clients with difficulties to regulate emotions. She has a special interest to incorporate the DBT approach into her practice.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Natalia works with adults and adolescents. She has a considerable amount of experience working with a wide variety of issues including depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, suicidality, panic, low self-esteem issues, stress and relationship difficulties.

Natalia utilises the positive psychology approach at her sessions which is mainly focused on the client’s strengths rather than their problems.

Abordaje Psicoterapéutico

Natalia trabaja con adultos y adolescentes. Tiene una cantidad considerable de experiencia trabajando con una amplia variedad de problemas que incluyen depresión, ansiedad, regulación emocional, tendencias suicidas, pánico, problemas de baja autoestima, estrés y dificultades en las relaciones.

Natalia utiliza el enfoque de psicología positiva en sus sesiones, que se centra principalmente en las fortalezas del cliente en lugar de sus áreas con mayor dificultad.

La tarifa de Natalia es de 100€ por sesión
