She has a particular interest in working with student counsellors where there is often a need for additional support and coaching.

Supervising Philosophy

Supervision is a lifelong process, providing a space to facilitate and enable continued professional and ethical development for both supervisor and supervisee. This relationship needs to be supportive, educative, challenging, and confidential. As the supervisor, Claire continues to develop her ability to reflect on what is being presented, and work with the supervisee to find solutions to the dilemmas they bring to the process. Key to achieving this is centred on building a solid supervisory relationship. Pivotal to the work is incorporating Roger’s core conditions in each supervisory contact; congruence, unconditional positive regard, and empathic understanding.

Claire’s fee for supervision is €80
