Psychotherapy Training and Accreditation

Aneta is a fully qualified Gestalt psychotherapist and a clinical psychologist.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Gestalt Institute of Ireland, validated by the South East Technological University (SETU), and is currently working towards an MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy. She also holds an MA in clinical psychology from The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) in Warsaw, Poland.

Aneta is a graduate member of PSI (The Psychological Society of Ireland) as well as a pre-accredited member of IACP (Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and adheres to the Code of Ethics of both.

Counselling and Psychotherapeutic Approach

As a Gestalt psychotherapist, Aneta works holistically and relationally, paying attention and staying present to the beauty and the fullness of human expression – through body, mind, and spirit. She trusts in the healing potential of a therapeutic relationship based on dialog, contact, and co-creation.

Aneta believes that “change occurs when one becomes what he is, not when he tries to become what he is not” (Beisser, 1970) and is committed to providing a confidential and supportive space for people to freely and creatively explore how their past and present life experiences have shaped them the way they are now, and what they might need to face their challenges, be happier and live more choice-fully.

Aneta sees every person as unique, their difference as their beauty, and their inability or struggle as a potential for growth and creative adjustment. She meets clients where they are in their life journey, through authentic relational encounters and genuine curiosity.

Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Aneta has extensive experience as a therapist in both private sector and as a volunteer. She is also professionally involved in supporting the most vulnerable adults and their families in one of St. John of God’s intellectual disability services.

Aneta is committed to personal and professional development through psychotherapy and training. She attends professional supervision to maintain a high standard of therapeutic practice.

As part of her MA in Gestalt Psychotherapy, Aneta is inquiring into the area of gender identities, sexualities, and heteronormativity.

Aneta offers short and long-term support for adults who would like to engage in self-development process, improve their relationships, or who struggle with issues such as: anger, anxiety, loss, depression, body image, fertility, isolation/loneliness, self-care, self-esteem, sexuality, gender identity, stress, work/life balance, or other.

Aneta works in English and Polish.
