Counselling Experience and Areas of Interest

Clare is passionate about her work as holistic psychotherapist and believes that the ability to work creatively and intuitively, drawing on a wide range of therapeutic modalities, brings breath and depth to her work. In addition to straightforward ‘talking therapy’ we may work creatively with the body, with client’s dreams, through creative expression such as art, or exploring your internal landscape through meditation and visualisation techniques. These methods help to find what is really going on beneath the surface but can also be healing in their own right. No artistic skills are needed and the pace and nature of the work will always always depend on the individual client. Clare believes that everybody has their own struggles, and sometimes these struggles can become a catalyst for change and transformation that takes you far beyond the outcome you originally intended or imagined.

In working with couples, Clare believes we choose a partner who will help us to grow and develop as a person and as a couple. She provides a space for the couple to explore their relationship challenges in a way that is safe and supportive, to identify strengths in the relationship, improve communication and conflict resolution and find a way forward for the couple.

Clare’s fees are:
